Sept. 8 - 9, 2017
First Bottling May 2018
In 2013, our River Junction vineyard in the River Junction AVA was Certified Sustainable under the Lodi Rules program, and since then, 100% of our Viognier has come from our own Estate vineyard. River Junction is at the confluence of the San Joaquin and Stanislaus Rivers.
The fruit for our 2017 Viognier was harvested on September 8-9, 2017. with an average of 25.8 Brix at harvest. The juice was cold fermented in Stainless Steel to retain the unique fruit characteristics of Viognier.
Light straw in color, the 2017 Viognier from McManis Family Vineyards is a pleasing mixture of stone fruit and fruit cocktail scents. Once across the lips, the luscious liquid delivers loads of Peach and Apricot flavors. These pleasing properties linger in the finish and fade to a faint mineral note.

After a wedding in CA, we have purchased only McMannis Wines. This has a light taste, that I live with all foods. Glad I could find it in IL.

Viognier is our most favorite and the only varietal we have the most difficulty to locate for purchase. Retailers don't have it in distro and supply is low; most need more on hand, due to our interest to keep it stocked in our home.

Tried this for the first time after seeing it's high ranking at my local HEB... I absolutely love it!!!!

Viognier is not a wine commonly found. When I discovered that McManis made it, I ordered a case. It recently paired beautifully with a dinner of smoked pork tenderloin, potatoes and cabbage. Wonderful with fish as well.

I recently purchased a bottle from Total Wine & More. I thought it was one of the best Viognier wine I've tasted yet. It has a mellow taste, but I can taste the various fruits that linger afterwards. I felt that the wine was perfect on its own!

I first had this Viognier eight years ago at my brother's birthday party and have been chasing the flavor ever since. I can't seem to find it locally in TN. This is wine at its best.

I found this wine at a Safeway here in Colorado. My wife and I were having a light "picnic" of Lox and egg salad in phyllo cups with fried capers. The wine was superb.

It is hard though do a good Viognier and you’ve done it guys aAn admirable effort - preserved the full aromatics - and the challenging acidity- it were Condrieu it would have been at least $50-60. Loved the stone fruit and complexity.
